Effective October 2018: Changes to MSIA Online Learning

Microsoft is committed to helping students develop future ready skills and become college and career ready through a streamlined customer experience and access to the most relevant, current curricula and learning resources. To that end, They have announced an important change to the Microsoft Imagine Academy (MSIA) online learning benefit that will provide a better experience for educators and students.

Effective October 1st, 2018, MSIA’s online learning management platform and its related Admin and Learner dashboards will be retired. This means educators and students will no longer have access to the courses or transcripts currently hosted on that site, so please keep in mind that any online learning course in progress will need to be completed and transcripts downloaded before the site is retired.

Beginning October 1st, educators will be able to identify and access specific online learning options using a new “MSIA Online Learning Directory” to be made available through MSIA’s Member Site in September 2018. This master directory, in easy-to-use OneNote format, will include links to direct users to specific online learning resources supporting MSIA’s four learning paths – Computer Science, Data Science, IT Infrastructure, and Productivity.
